The Psychology MajorMost of our students are pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. However, you can also pursue a B.S. in Psychology, a B.A. in Psychology Education, or a B.A. in Neuroscience. Requirements for the Psychology Major (B.S.)Starting in Fall, 2007, students can declare a B.S. in psychology. The B.S. degree is a new way to pursue the psychology major. It requires coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Computer Science, and requires significant research experience. It's a rigorous preparation for for graduate work in psychology or related disciplines. Bachelor of Science
Psychology Education (B.A.)We also sponsor a Psychology Education Major. This is a psychology major, plus additional courses in social sciences, history, and education. It includes a student teaching semester. Upon completion, you are eligible for teaching history and social studies at the secondary schools in Delaware.
