Research InterestsI am a second year graduate student working in Dr. Anna Papafragou’s Language and Cognition lab. We are interested in how speakers of different languages describe spatial scenes, whether or not these differences are able to influence thought, and if there are any universal conceptual representations of spatial relationships. Some of my other areas of interest include the cognitive benefits of bilingualism and investigating how sign languages compare to spoken languages regarding spatial information. |
